  1. Associate Strategist/Senior Associate Strategist/Strategist/Senior Strategist

    Our lively digital marketing agency is looking for new team members at a range of experience levels in our Strategy department to help create and execute results-driven online advertising campaigns for our progressive political and responsible corporate clients. These people will help our clients increase brand awareness, drive e-commerce sales and organization growth, engage and retain current members, and advance progressive causes.

    Specific Responsibilities (All positions)

    • Build, optimize, and run online ads across various different programmatic platforms (Facebook, Google, DV360, Twitter, etc.).
    • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
    • Measure, analyze, and report on campaign and website performance to uncover actionable insights that will increase efficiency and performance of our digital marketing efforts.

  2. Associate Graphic Designer

    Our lively advertising agency is looking for a talented graphic designer to join our creative team! This person will be responsible for designing advertising creative, including responsive websites, digital and traditional advertising campaigns for print, the web, and social media, and branding for our progressive political and responsible corporate clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Have a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and to work hard
    • Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to brainstorm, conceptualize, and assist in the execution of impactful, client-ready advertising creative, often on tight deadlines
    • Collaborate with the web development team to help create site maps, wireframes, mockups, visual guidelines, interactive prototypes, and development-ready designs, as well as observe stakeholder interviews and moderated or unmoderated user testing

  3. Sr. Paid Search Specialist

    Our lively DC-based digital advertising agency is looking for a paid search specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work across client accounts to plan, implement, track and optimize paid search campaigns. This role will report to the VP of Search.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    2+ years of experience in a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) ad buying & campaign management role. We assume the majority of the experience will be in AdWords but we equally value Bing SEM and Amazon SEM experience

    Sr. Paid Search Specialist Responsibilities:

    • Manage ROAS/ROI-driven campaigns on Google and Bing and/or Amazon SEM, including:
      • ad copywriting
      • campaign & ad group building
      • keyword and automated bidding strategies
      • regular optimization and reporting
    • Oversee projects across multiple client teams and manage team members working on PPC/paid search projects
    • Help to train and build additional paid search capacity at the agency
    • Interface directly with clients

    The following qualifications are strongly preferred:

    • 2+ years SEM experience in Google Ads, Bing, or Amazon

  4. Senior Copywriter

    Our lively advertising agency is looking for an experienced and talented copywriter to join our creative team!

    Chong + Koster is a digital advertising agency that works with a diverse range of client and campaign types. The person joining as copywriter should be versatile in writing for different 1) industry/client types (e.g. both political and corporate writing), 2) format types (e.g. both 30-sec TV scripts and social statics), and 3) objective types (e.g. Direct Response vs. Awareness).

    Along the way, this person should expect to collaborate closely with both the Strategy team on specifications, concept & direction, and the Design team on creation and delivery.

    • Write great advertising copy for our wide range of clients, (progressive advocacy & electoral campaigns, nonprofits, NGOs, and responsible corporate clients), in a wide range of (mostly digital) ad formats, including

    • If you have professional experience copywriting in both languages, great! We will increase your compensation accordingly (we'll explore how much during the portfolio review & interview process)

    Qualifications

    • We assume qualified candidates will have this kind of professional experience:
      • 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably at an agency or in politics, especially for 1) TV/Digital Video spots and 2) social ads. Ideally this includes:
        • 1+ years experience working in a creative team environment, working with graphic designers, website designers/developers, and/or video production professionals
        • 1+ years experience working in a strategy/accounts team environment, understanding DR/performance copy needs, client requests, brand guidelines, and other strategic/account based needs.

  5. Senior Strategist (Ad Operations)

    Our lively advertising agency is looking for somebody with Ad Operations experience to help us create and execute results-driven online advertising campaigns for our progressive political and responsible corporate clients.

    To the Ad Ops professionals reading this: you should join us because we're not a giant chop-shop who treats Ad Ops as a back office job. Instead of using “go between minders” (account executives) to report results to the client, we train our strategist to be expert, full stack marketing consultants. Our strategists work directly with client decision makers to 1) decide how to prioritize campaigns, 2) buy the ads, 3) set up reports to optimize and show success, 4) communicate results directly to the client, and 5) repeat and grow. Clients like this level of connection better, and for our Strategists (unlike a lot of ad ops jobs) growing as a well-rounded consultant means this position has lots of potential for advancement.     Specific Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day ad buying processes including: campaign set-up, trafficking, troubleshooting, QA, reporting and campaign optimization
